Rev. Wayne PruittRev. Dr. Wayne N. Pruitt received his Masters of Divinity from Andover Newton Theological School in 1976 and was ordained in the United Church of Christ in the same year. He received his Doctorate of Ministry from the Eastern Baptist Theological Seminary in 1993. He continued with postdoctoral work in the areas of family and marriage. Beginning in 1993, Rev. Pruitt has been a licensed marriage and family therapist. He has also participated in leadership and clergy development at the Alban Institute in Washington, DC, and did a sabbatical study on the Protestant Reformation and its effect on colonial America at Mansfield College, in Oxford University, England.

Rev. Pruitt has served as settled minister in churches in New Hampshire, Connecticut, and Massachusetts from 1976 to the present, except for the period from 1993 to 2000 where he served as interim minister in Plymouth Church in Framingham, United Church of Christ in Norwell, and Orthodox Congregational in Mansfield. He has also served on a variety of committees of the Massachusetts Conference of the UCC.

We are pleased to welcome a wonderful new organist and music director, Tudor Bota, who joined us in September 2007. Tudor comes to us from the Ballard Vale United Church (United Methodist and UCC) in Andover, where he had been organist and music director since 2002. Trained at New England Conservatory, Boston Conservatory, Boston University, Colby College, and The Academy of Music "Gheorghe Dima" in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, he brings vast experience as a pianist, organist, and music director to our congregation. He has also worked with children as an accompanist and piano teacher in various venues. He has released four piano recordings on CD.

Wendy DonnellOur Director of Christian Education, Wendy Lee Donnell, comes to us from Watertown, MA. Wendy has been with The Union Church in Waban since May 2002. Wendy has been trained in the area of Christian education. She has a Bachelor's degree in Religion from Wellesley College, in Wellesley MA. Her education includes a strong knowledge of the Bible, theology and educational theory. Wendy has also done extensive work on the Holocaust and has traveled to Poland to study at Auschwitz and other concentration camps. She plans to continue her professional academic career to earn a Master's Degree in Christian Education. She is currently working towards a Masters of Divinity at Andover Newton Theological School.

Our office manager, Tracy (Arcuri) Jaques, grew up in Waban as a child and graduated from Newton South High School. She married Allen Jaques in 1984 and she and her family reside in Medfield, MA with their three children. Tracy was called to us in April 2004 and in the true spirit of the Union Church, worships at the Catholic Church in Medfield and shares her organizational skills between The Union Church in Waban and St. Dunstan's Episcopal Church in Dover. Tracy enjoys a wide range of needle arts including among others knitting, quilting, beading and cross stitch.
