Loving God, hear the prayers of your people gathered in this community,
- We pray for all of our graduating high school and college students as they celebrate this threshold moment and discern what comes next for them. We pray for all of our youth and families as they balance the many aspects of school, activities, family life, and spiritual connection.
- We pray for Betty O’Beirne through a season of difficult medical treatments. Uplift and strengthen her, O God, through your healing grace and through all who care for her.
- For all in our UCW community who are ill, or who are caring for loved ones. For all who grieve, God, we ask for the comfort of your presence.
- We pray for peace for your people all throughout the world. Teach us to beat our swords into plowshares, O God, and to sow wisdom and reap peace, justice, and joy.

Sharing from the Heart 2024 - 25 Pledge Drive
Stewardship season is still going strong. Our theme is "Sharing from the Heart." When we share from our hearts, freely, the gifts with which we have been blessed become the foundation for life-giving ministry. Your pledging allows this church to boldly claim our covenant and plan for services within this congregation and out into the world in inclusive, mission-minded, and intergenerational activities.

Dear members of Union Church in Waban,
I hope this message finds you well. I am pleased to inform you that I am in good health and in good spirits at this time.
I've been working to get ahead, now I work at Remanso Beach and in my free time I usually take surf classes right there, it's good because it helps distract the mind a little. I am writing to you with great enthusiasm to inform you that I have started the university thesis/degree-defense course, on which I have been working hard. This important academic project represents a significant milestone in my educational and professional training.
We started this course on April 21 and it will end on August 11; we will have the defense in September. We were informed that on December 6 will be the graduation, if God allows it.
