Holy Week blessings to you all! We have a very special service planned for Sunday morning, with guest musicians, an abundance communion table, and, of course, Easter Egg Hunt to follow (including rain plans!). It is such a joy to gather together for Easter each year: to remember the gifts of our faith, the triumph of new life in God over violence and death, the accompaniment of Christ through our greatest sorrows and greatest joys. I hope you will join us, and bring family or friends who could use a little Good News this week.

Loving God, hear the prayers
of your people gathered in this community.
We pray that all people might be able to experience the resurrection joy that comes with new life, especially all those in places of war and violence, those in need of healing, and those who feel lonely or despairing.
- We pray for healing for Brita Gill-Austern as she recovers from pneumonia, for Frank Laski, recovering from hand surgery, and for John Weisz as he heals following a car accident.
- We pray for an end to war, an end to violence, an end to the harms of Empire that we see in our scriptures and in our world.
- For all in our UCW community who are ill, or who are caring for loved ones. For all who grieve, God, we ask for the comfort of your presence.
- We pray for peace for your people all throughout the world. Teach us to beat our swords into plowshares, O God, and to sow wisdom and reap peace, justice, and joy.
We pray to you, grateful for your accompaniment with us in all things. Amen.

Scripture Reader Sign-up: HERE
For generations the stories and wisdom of our faith were only shared orally, and reading scripture out loud is still a central part of our worship and community. Please consider sharing your voice in worship this fall.

Current Year Giving Update
Thank you to everyone who pledges and donates their time and treasure to support our wonderful community. Your support makes possible our mission work, our care for members of our congregation, our youth programs and ministry, music and worship services.
As of this date we have received $85,716 in pledges and donations from the congregation, in comparison to our budget of $187,000 for this fiscal year. This means we received only 46% of what was budgeted, as we near the 75% point in the year. Please consider making your pledge payments and any other donations to help us catch up to where we should be for the year. If you have any questions about your giving so far this year, please contact Aidan at [email protected] and remember you can make pledge payments and donations online HERE.
