In addition to our long term and sustained partnerships with Nicaragua, Zambia and the local initiatives, there are numerous opportunities to participate in service projects throughout the year. Whether it be apple picking after church on Sunday and donating the apples to the Newton Food Pantry, sorting clothes and toys for children in need through Cradles to Crayons; sharing a meal and worship with the unhoused congregation of Common Cathedral/Ecclesia Ministries or wrapping a Christmas gift with love and care for someone who is homeless, you will find the Union Church out and about in our wider community doing all we can to love kindness, do justice and walk humbly with our God.
