Justice Housing Action

Monday, June 26, 7:00 - 8:30 p.m.
Temple Israel, 477 Longwood Ave, Boston

Contact Julie Heffernan to carpool and register
The GBIO Housing Justice Campaign is focused first on the deplorable conditions in MA's public housing. Years of decay have left the public housing stock in shocking disrepair. We can join hundreds of others on June 26th to show up and stand up for the resources needed to repair the public housing we currently know is in shameful condition. GBIO leaders, tenant neighbors, and allies will gather at Temple Israel, 477 Longwood Ave, Boston MA from 7pm - 8:30 pm on June 26 as we make the case for housing justice. Union Church in Waban hopes to send one or two carloads of church members to this rally. If you are interested, please contact Julie Heffernan ([email protected]), so that she can register us with GBIO. Everyone deserves a home!

The federal Fair Housing Act of 1968 prohibits housing discrimination based on “familial status.”
