At The Union Church in Waban we cherish our children as beloved and valued members of our community.
A Note about this year and Covid: The safety and well-being of our kids and youth is our first priority. We know how important it is for the mental and spiritual health of our children for them to gather and connect in-person when possible, and we are carefully following Covid-safety guidelines and gathering outdoors as much as possible. Please keep an eye on this page, and on our homepage for updates about gathering and Covid. We’d love to see you!
Children and Youth of all Ages
All-ages are invited to our Sunday School each week during worship, where they grow in their relationships with God and one another, and form their faith through sharing and prayer, Biblical storytelling, hands-on learning, and service projects. Children begin the worship service in the sanctuary with their families, and are then invited to gather for their own time of worship and sharing with our Children’s Ministry teachers and staff following the Time for All-Ages message.
Infants and Toddlers
Infants and toddlers are very welcome in our worship services, and our Prayground is always available as a special space in the sanctuary with toys, art-supplies, books and extra space for wiggles and rest. Our professionally-staffed Rainbow Room is also a safe and loving space for our littlest ones.
Pastoral Care for Children, Youth and Families
This is a challenging time for our kids and families, but we can take comfort in knowing we are never alone. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to Rev. Amy Clark Feldman, Associate Pastor for Youth and Families, at [email protected] or 617-938-8112 for a listening ear, prayer, support or connection.
