Local Food Pantries

Local Food Pantries

Since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, the need for food and personal care items has significantly increased at our local food pantries. As a Freedge community partner, The Union Church is helping with food insecurity right in our community. We hope you will join our team.

Newton Community Freedge

The Newton Community Freedge is a free refrigerator and pantry open all day, every day, at 420 Watertown Street. This volunteer-led initiative, organized by the Newton Food Pantry in collaboration with other local organizations, joins a growing network of free refrigerators in the Greater Boston area and throughout the country.

The Union Church in Waban is proud to be a Freedge community partner. Join our Freedge team and help reduce food insecurity in Newton.
