JAVA Gents BBQ!

This month, Java Gents will gather on Thursday, June 12, at 6:00 p.m, (don’t come at 7:00 a.m. Friday!) for “Buz’s BBQ and Brew Gathering of the Java Gents.” Newcomers and long timers alike are welcome! JAVA Gents is the informal get-together of the men of the UCW congregation (and community)
Boston Pride for the People 2025
Saturday, June 14 at 9:00 a.m.
UCW is gearing up to march in this year’s Pride for the People Parade on June 14! We’re joining fellow Open and Affirming (aka, LGBTQ+ welcoming) UCC-affiliated congregations across Greater Boston to celebrate love, inclusion, and the vibrant spirit of Pride!

Wellspring will be gathering for its last meeting this year on Wednesday, June 18 at 6:30 p.m. Location TBD, as we are trying to find a nice place to meet outside, if possible.

Mapping Your Spiritual Journey

Ever wanted to write about your spiritual journey? Or perhaps create a map of your own story?
Join us Saturday morning May 31 for a simple and fun way to do this. We will use a combination of easy drawing exercises and short paragraphs to convey our spiritual development over time, and end with some writing and a timeline for you to take home.
Urban Gardens for Eco Justice

Carpooling from UCW at 9:45 a.m.
On Saturday, May 31 we will go to The Ellington Community Food Forest Garden at 103 Ellington Street in Dorchester, where we will be volunteering with the women of the Ellington Garden for a workday from 10:00-2:00 p.m. Drinks and snacks will be provided from 10:00 a.m. to noon and then work in garden begins at 12:00 p.m.)
All-Comers Dinner is Back!

All are welcome to this night of food, fellowship, and fun. Bring a friend if you’d like! We’ll be enjoying a potluck meal during the evening, so, if possible, please sign up with something you can bring to share (enough for 3-4 people).
