Volunteer Opportunies with FamilyAid

If you’d like to meet our new neighbors in a fun, relaxed setting, you can. UCW will be hosting some opportunities over the next few weeks to volunteer and meet our new neighbors at the Family Navigation Center in West Newton.
Breakfast Church and Farewell
Sunday, Augusst 17 at 10:00 a.m.
We’ll share a final worship service with Pastor Amy, and celebrate our shared ministry with her on this Sunday morning. Per her request, we’ll have Breakfast Church, so bring your appetites!
JAVA Gents BBQ!

This month, Java Gents will gather on Thursday, June 12, at 6:00 p.m, (don’t come at 7:00 a.m. Friday!) for “Buz’s BBQ and Brew Gathering of the Java Gents.” Newcomers and long timers alike are welcome! JAVA Gents is the informal get-together of the men of the UCW congregation (and community)
Boston Pride for the People 2025

UCW is gearing up to march in this year’s Pride for the People Parade on June 14! We’re joining fellow Open and Affirming (aka, LGBTQ+ welcoming) UCC-affiliated congregations across Greater Boston to celebrate love, inclusion, and the vibrant spirit of Pride!
Wellspring Gathering

Mapping Your Spiritual Journey

Ever wanted to write about your spiritual journey? Or perhaps create a map of your own story?
Join us Saturday morning May 31 for a simple and fun way to do this. We will use a combination of easy drawing exercises and short paragraphs to convey our spiritual development over time, and end with some writing and a timeline for you to take home.
