A quick reminder that our next service will be held on Sunday, August 16. We will offer a light breakfast at 8:15 a.m. followed by an intergenerational worship service at 9:00 a.m. There is no nursery care for this service.
Gathering Sunday will be on September 13. Please remember to collect a memento of your summer experience to share on our thanksgiving collage! Your moderators have also asked you to take a photo “that captures for you that special spiritual moment” to share on our new website (see moderator article in your summer Keeping Current).
Our next book discussion group is scheduled to meet on Wednesday, September 23 at 7:30 p.m. at the church. The book chosen is Eat Pray Love by Elizabeth Gilbert (please see short description in the summer KC). Consider adding this to your summer reading list and joining the group in September!
Also included in the summer KC issue is the new slate of committee officers and a Permission to Use Photos form. The Website Ad-hoc committee would like to use as many pictures as possible on our new website (take a look: ucw.org), and therefore will need written permission from you.
