We invite you to worship with us this Sunday, Sept. 27, The Seventeenth Sunday after Pentecost. The preacher will be The Rev. Asinger. His sermon: “Don’t Be Stranded.” The choir will sing “A Simple Song of Praise” by David Lantz. Refreshments are hosted by Vinita Leslie and Karen Weisgerber.
This Sunday morning we are having a “budget meeting” after church where we will discuss – among other budget items – creating a church policy for child care at church events.
Shared Heart Date Change: The date for the Shared Heart Exhibit and Scripture Study has been changed from Oct. 4 to Oct. 18 to better accommodate the youth from Newton’s Gay-Straight Alliance. Join us for the exhibit and reception beginning at 6:00 p.m. followed at 7:00 p.m. by Scripture Study.

Please join us in the Littlehale Room after worship! This year’s Sunday School program will engage your kids in active, creative and laughter-inducing activities that will:

– build relationships with friends, family, and community
– encourage giving back, both locally and globally
– embrace faith and the wonders of God’s creations
