November 25 Update

We invite you to worship with us this Sunday, November 29, The First Sunday in Advent. The preacher will be our interim minister, The Rev. Rob Asinger. His sermon is titled "Wait and Prepare." The choir will sing "Waiting for a King" by Joseph Martin. We will light the Advent Candle. There will be a one-room Sunday School this week. Reception hosted by the Deacons.

POINSETTIAS AND GREENS SALE: We are now taking orders for greens to decorate the sanctuary and your home for the Christmas season. Orders forms are available in the chapel.  Deadline is this Sunday, Nov. 29. This sale provides funds for our mission work in Nicaragua.  Contact Vinita Leslie with any questions.

HANGING OF THE GREENS is next Sunday, December 6.

ADVENT AND CHRISTMAS EVE READERS: If you and your family would like to take part in the Advent or Christmas Eve readings, please see the sign-up in the chapel. Copies of each reading are posted; please take the appropriate one with you when you sign up.

THE CHRISTMAS COLLECTION this year will be taken up for our work in Nicaragua. Offering envelopes may be found in the church pews beginning Sunday, December 6. Checks placed in the offering plate not clearly marked as for the “Christmas Collection” will be credited to your stewardship pledge. Thank you in advance for your generosity.
