Updates for January 18, 2013

 

Bible Study meets on Sunday mornings at 8:00 a.m. in Stacy’s office. We are currently studying the book of Revelation. Join in anytime; all are welcome.

 

The Children’s Choir will meet for rehearsal on Sunday after worship.

 

You will not want to miss this year’s Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Junior service that will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, January 21st at Temple Beth Avodah. Our own Ian Wittler will be singing as part of the Newton All City Treble Singers. In addition, as vice chair of the Newton Interfaith Clergy Association, Stacy will be helping to lead worship. Also, Bill Merrill and Philip Lima will be performing at the annual Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. program at Pilgrim United Church in New Bedford on Sunday afternoon, January 20, from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m.More information is available here.

Spiritual Autobiography course continues Monday evening. We will meet in the Reception Room from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.

 

Book Group will meet Tuesday evening at 7:30 p.m. We will be discussing “Somewhere in Germany.”

 

Prayer Group meets each Wednesday morning at 7:30 a.m.

The Internet Committee will meet on Thursday morning, January 24, at 8:00 a.m.

 

The Teaching Parish Committee meeting has been moved to Thursday, January 24 at 6:30 p.m.
