Our delegation traveling with Communities Without Borders to our partner community in Zambia leaves at the end of June. Until then, we are collecting the following supplies for the school we support: pencils, pencil sharpeners, crayons, Legos (new or used).
Note that the Sunday School kids have been asked to bring a scoopful or more of their Lego collections to contribute. Think how thrilled our kids will be to make such a tangible difference in the lives of children who have no toys or manipulatives, and very little color in their lives.Drop your supplies in the suitcase in the Crocker Chapel at church.

The June 12, 2013 issue of “Christian Century” features an excellent article entitled “Embrace and Abandonment” in which Pastor Matt Fitzgerald and poet Christian Wiman discuss their views on God. Copies of the article are available on the side table in the chapel.
