Summer Worship Service this Sunday
Our August summer service will be held this Sunday at 5:00 p.m. Join us for a casual service in the side chapel, followed by a light supper. Childcare is available.
Coming Up:
Prayer Group meets each Wednesday morning at 7:30 a.m. in the side chapel.
Lunch Bunch will travel to the Museum of Science on August 20, to visit the Dead Sea Scroll exhibit.
We will meet at church at noon, drive to the Museum, have lunch at the café, and then tour the exhibit at 1:30. Let Stacy know if you would like to join in.
If you have never participated in Lunch Bunch before, this is a great opportunity to do so.
Wellspring, the women’s group of the Union Church, will meet on Wednesday evening, August 21, at 6:30 p.m. Join us for a light supper and time of fellowship. Please let us know if you can come so we can plan the food.
Join us for a visit to Common Cathedral on August 25th at 1:00 p.m. Please rsvp to the office. There is the option of either meeting the group at 1:00 p.m. on the Common near the Park Street station entrance on the 25th or meeting at the church at 10:30 a.m. in the kitchen to prepare the sandwiches and other items to take with us. Donations of sandwich-making supplies are greatly appreciated. Please contact the office if you are able to contribute for a listing of what is needed. Thank you!
Book Group will meet on August 27 at 7:30 p.m. We will be discussing John Updike’s book, In the Beauty of the Lilies.
