This Sunday, we heard Jesus teaching through the power of parables. He tells us that the kingdom of God is like a seed planted in a field. He tells us that the kingdom of God is like a mustard seed.
Our second passage comes from the Prophet Ezekiel where he speaks the word of God telling the people who are in exile that God will plant them back on the highest mountain and they shall be like a mighty tree.
We also celebrated together the baptism of William “Buz” Bedford and in doing so affirmed our belovedness as God’s own, planted here in this time to bring about the kingdom of God on earth as it is in heaven.
