Below please find the calendars for our Junior (6th-9th grade) and Senior (10th-12th grade) Youth Groups
Junior Youth Group – 6th to 9th Graders – Fall Calendar
September
- Sept. 11th – Gathering Sunday! Bring a sample of water from your summer to share in worship and then bake cookies and set up games from 10-11am. Eat yummy food and play games with friends at 11am!
- Sept. 18th – Blessing Backpacks and Devices: Bring your backpack or bag, and device if you have one. Together we will journey into the new school year blessed and blessing!
October
- Oct 1 (time TBD) – Tree-Top Adventures (Jr and Sr. Youth Groups)!
- Oct 16th at 1pm – Blessing of the Animals Jr Youth are invited to help lead this service
November
- Nov. 12th – All-Church Day Retreat with special offerings for our youth
- Nov. 19th – Community Helping Hands Clean-up/Thanksgiving Dinner. Lend a hand to friends in need of extra help with fall clean-up, and spruce up the church grounds, while we share a Thanksgiving meal with neighbors
- November 27th – First Sunday in Advent – Hanging of the Greens! We’ll deck the halls in this beloved intergenerational worship service
December
- Date TBD – Christmas Party & White Elephant Gift Exchange. This annual favorite is back!
- Dec. 11th -All-Ages Telling of the Christmas Story
- Mitten Tree – Help make mittens and collect gifts for neighbors in need
Senior Youth Group (10th-12th Graders) and Exploring Our Faith – Calendar
September
- Sept. 11th – Gathering Sunday! (see details above)
- Sept. 18 or 25th (TBD) – 12-3pm – Visit to The Islamic Center of Wayland
October
- Oct 1 (time TBD) – Tree-Top Adventures (Jr and Sr. Youth Groups)!
- Oct. 16th – EOF Gathering. Stay after the Blessing of the Animals with Pastors Amy or Matt for Spiritual Practices; and conversation about Confirmation & Baptism
November
- Nov. 12-13th – Overnight Retreat for 10th-12th Graders at Edwards House. Come for the All-Church Retreat on Saturday and stay overnight for a special youth retreat
