Water from Many Places Project

Did you collect water from a place you visited this summer as part of our Water from Many Places project? It may have been somewhere as close as the shores of Crystal Lake, or as far as a stream or ocean around the globe! We hope you will bring water from the place you’ve traveled with you on September 11th. We will collect the water from many places in worship, naming where it is from, and then filter and boil it so it can be used for baptisms.

Seeking God When Our Plans Fall Apart

What happens when our world falls apart? What does it look like to search for God in the gray area of our lives? How do we press onward when our tightly-knit plans unravel into loose threads? Sometimes we need to be unraveled—from shame, fear, patterns, or identities that cause harm. To unravel is to acknowledge and grieve what has fallen apart to allow God’s newness to unfurl.

This Fall we will explore these questions and seek God’s hope, peace, and creativity in the unraveling and new things God is weaving in our lives. Join us each Sunday beginning on Sept. 11th through Advent for this special series.
