Words of Welcome
Our Maundy Thursday Service begins by sharing a meal together, just as Jesus shared a meal with his friends on the night he was to be betrayed. As such, you are invited to make dinner and bring it to your table at 6:15 p.m. as we join together on Zoom. We will share a blessing and then those that would like will be invited into “break out rooms” to enjoy dinner with a few other individuals/families.
At 6:45 we will wrap up our meal and prepare to continue the service. For those that would like to partake in communion, please gather some bread/crackers and juice/water.
7:00 our service will continue with Communion as we remember what Jesus asked of us at that table long ago. If you would like to partake in communion, please prepare some break/crackers and Juice/water. We will then share in the Last Supper and the Tenebrae Service of readings and extinguishing of Lenten candles.
