This is the final Sunday in Eastertide. For the past many weeks we have been walking along side the disciples as they have experienced the risen Christ and have come to metabolize the forgiveness he has brought.

This Sunday we embrace that we are surrounded by a great cloud of witnesses not just those who we are sharing this moment with now but also all those who have gone on ahead of us. All throughout September, we will be reflecting on Psalm 23. This Sunday, we will also remember the Exodus story of God providing Manna to the Isrealites in the wilderness. Pastor Amy will explore God’s desire for us to “lie down in green pastures,” and for the Isrealites to rest on the Sabbath from collecting manna.
